PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
FOR RICHMOND POWER&LIGHT
NOVEMBER 18,2019
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power& Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00
p.m,November 18,2019,in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City.
Chairperson Hollis presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Jeffrey
Locke, Gary Turner, Misty Hollis, Jamie Lopeman and Ron Oler. Absent was J. Clayton
Miller.
Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Tony Foster, Assistant General
Manager;Andrew Sickmann, City Attorney;Karen Chasteen,City Clerk;Fire Chief Jerry
Purcell; Assistant City Attorney Kim Vessels; Jane Bumbalough; Jeff Cappa;Media; and,
Sergeant-at-Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Board Member Wissel moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held
November 4,2019 and the Special Meeting held November 11,2019, supported by Board
Member Lopeman.Upon a vote viva voce,the motion carried.
APPROVAL OF BILLS,INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Board Member Oler moved to approve
claims for payment in the amount of Six Million One Hundred Eighty Thousand Sixty Four
Dollars and forty two cents ($6,180,064.42), supported by Board Member Locke. Upon a
vote viva voce,the motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:None
REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• There have been a couple of small outages caused by squirrels.
• The Downtown lights have been repaired. Parts have become available again.
