Home My Public Portal About11-05-2018 PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT NOVEMBER 5, 2018 The Board of Directors for Richmond Power& Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m, November 5, 2018, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Wissel presided. ROLL CALL: Board members present were Councilors Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Jeffrey Locke, Gary Turner, Jamie Lopeman, and Ron Oler. Absent was Misty Hollis. Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Kim Vessels,Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk;Assistant General Manager Tony Foster; Police Major Mike Britt; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Board Member Locke moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 15, 2018, supported by Board Member Turner. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS: Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Board Member Miller moved to approve claims for payment in the amount of Six Million Four Hundred Fifty Six Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Eight Dollars and twenty cents ($6,456,368.20), supported by Board Member Oler. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. OLD BUSINESS: • Board Member Lopeman moved to award the bid to verify settings, test relays, and circuit breakers at the Gaar Jackson substation to the most responsible and responsive bidder Premier Power Maintenance (Indianapolis) in the amount of Thirty Thousand Six Hundred Ninety three' Dollars and eighty five cents ($30,693.85), supported by Board Member Cruse-Nicholson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: None REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER: • Board Members Lopeman and Cruse-Nicholson, Assistant General Manager Foster and General Manager Baker recently visited Prairie State.
