FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT
JUNE 19, 2017
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m„ June 19,
2017, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Oler presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Clayton Miller, Jeffrey Locke, Misty Hollis, Jamie Lopeman and
Ron Oler. Absent were Board Members Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, and Gary Turner.
Also present were: Sandra Lambert, Richmond Power and Light Finance Manager; Andrew J. Sickmann,
City Attorney; Jack Cruse, Director of Infrastructure and Development; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Board Member Hollis moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held, June 5, 2017,
supported by Board Member Goss. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Board Member Locke moved to approve claims for
payment in the amount of One Million One Hundred Thirty Six Thousand Thirty One Dollars and forty five
cents ($1,136,031.34), supported by Board Member Lopeman. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE:
None
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
None
REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• NEW VEHICLE FOR GENERAL MANAGER BIDS:
Board Member Hollis moved to accept the Proof of Publication as presented by Ms. Lambert,
supported by Board Member Goss. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Bids received were:
Wetzel Chevrolet Chevy Traverse $37,672.00
Wetzel Ford Ford Explorer Ltd. $38,000.00
Studebaker GMC Acadia $34,415.40
Board Member Miller moved to refer these bids to the General Manager for due diligence,
supported by Board Member Lopeman.
