HomeMy Public PortalAboutWeek of 0124 Work PlanAnticipated Work —Week of January 24. 2022 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitations Contract 21-01S (National Water Main) National Water Main will begin CIPP installation on the following streets: • Falmouth Road (Between Acton Street and Waltham Street); Pilgrim Road (Between Puritan Road and Acton Street) • Brandley Road; Michael Avenue (Between Carey Avenue and Warren Street); King Street (Between Carey Avenue and Warren Street) • Rose Avenue (Between Carey Avenue and Madison Avenue) • Heather Road (Between Grandview Avenue and Warren Street) • Desmond Avenue (Between Grandview Avenue and Warren Street) See website for additional details Note: If your home or business is connected to the sewer line being rehabilitated, your sewer service will be temporarily blocked off from the sewer mainline once the liner is inflated. During this time your water service is not shut off and you can continue using it for drinking, cooking and other purposes, but residents are asked to limit water use. You should avoid taking showers or baths, running your dishwasher and washing machine, and also be sure to turn off all sump pumps connected to your sewer service. Flush your toilets sparingly. Using small amounts of water to wash your hands or brush your teeth is okay. See web -site for additional information. • 2021 Sanitary Sewer Investigations (National Water Main) • NIGHT WORK: National Water Main is scheduled to clean and TV inspect sewers in the Galen Square & Pleasant Street areas from 8PM — 4AM starting Sunday night, January 23" through Thursday morning, January 271n • National Grid Gas Work Utility companies are responsible for notifying residents prior to conducting work, but planned work is listed below: o Continue gas main replacement on Winter Street o Continue gas main replacement on Pine Street and Nash Street o Begin gas main replacement on Fifth Avenue • Eversource Electric o Tree Tech will continue tree pruning around power lines, citywide Note: All work is weather -dependent and subject to change.
