FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT
NOVEMBER 6, 2017
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m, November
6, 2017, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Vice Chairperson Wissel
presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Jeffrey
Locke, Gary Turner, Misty Hollis and Jamie Lopeman. Absent was Ron Oler.
Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Andrew J. Sickmann, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen,
City Clerk; Jack Cruse, Director of Infrastructure and Development; Fire Chief Jerry Purcell; Media; and,
Sergeant-at-Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Board Member Hollis moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 16 and the
Special Meeting of October 30, 2017, supported by Board Member Goss. Upon a vote viva voce, the
motion carried.
APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Board Member Locke moved to approve claims for
payment in the amount of Six Million Six Hundred Sixty Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sexty Three
Dollars and eighty nine cents ($6,662,763.89) supported by Board Member Lopeman. Upon a vote viva
voce, the motion carried.
STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE:
None
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
None
REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• Thank you for the work on the proposed 2018 budget.
• There were no exceptions in the Audit exit
• No outages were reported during the severe weather November 5
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
None
