HomeMy Public PortalAbout11-20-2017 PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT NOVEMBER 20, 2017 The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m, November 20, 2017, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Oler presided. ROLL CALL: Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Jeffrey Locke, Gary Turner and Misty Hollis. Absent were Board Members Jamie Lopeman and Ron Oler. Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Andrew J. Sickmann, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Jack Cruse, Director of Infrastructure and Development; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Board Member Wissel moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 6, 2017, supported by Board Member Cruse-Nicholson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS: Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Board Member Locke moved to approve claims for payment in the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty Four Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Dollars and twenty eight cents ($754,380.28), supported by Board Member Lopeman. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE: None OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: None REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER: • The outage over the weekend was caused when a tree fell on a line • Reported on a recent seminar on the digital Age MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business and a motion duly made, the meeting was adjourned.
