RESOLUTION NO. 2023-07-09
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN STAFF TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE TOWN OF
FRASER REBRANDING AND WAYFINDING PROJECT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 IN TOWN
FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has supported initiatives to look at a brand refresher
for the Town of Fraser in addition to wayfinding signage to include new downtown Fraser
signage, public facilities, and directional signage off HWY 40 and the Fraser River Trail
WHEREAS, Town Staff has requested a proposal from Slate Communications and has
now received the proposal totaling $47,500.
WHEREAS, the Town was awarded $20,000 from Grand County Tourism Board on July
6, 2020 for this initiative.
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser has received multiple recommendations from local
business owners to improve wayfinding signage to better draw both local residents and guests
to Fraser's business district.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
1. The Board of Trustees authorizes no more than $30,000 from Business
Enhancement Grant funds to match Grand County Tourism Board grant for funding
the Town of Fraser Rebranding and Wayfinding Project.
READ, PASSED ON ROLL CALL VOTE, AND ADOPTED THIS 19th DAY OF JULY 2023.
