ORDINANCE NO. ®1962
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ALIENATION AND CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
BELONGING TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, is the owner -of the
followinq described real estate, to -wit:
"Lot Number Nineteen (19) in Ravinia':Park First
Addition to the City of Richmond".``"
WHEREAS, said property has been appraised by three (3) dis-
interested freeholders of said City appointed by the Judge of the Wayne
Circuit Court; that said real estate was appraised at Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), and
WHEREAS, the said City of Richmond, Indiana, by its Board of
Public Works and Safety has accepted a written offer to purchase
executed by A. Marvin Goldenber at and for the sum of Two Thousand
NFive Hundred Dollars , . 0) that said offer has been the only
bona fide offer of not -less than the full appraised value made to said
City, and said offer is not less than the full appraised value thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana:
That the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana, is hereby,
authorized and empowered to convey in the name of the City by General
C"vs�4�� Warranty Deed, the above described real estate to A. Marvin Goldenberg
din consideration of the payment $2500.00 to City; saidconveyance
��-t� shall be attested by the City Clerk with the seal of the City.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon and after
its passage by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, with
the signature of the President of the Common Council, submission to and
approval by the Mayor of the City of Richmond and after publication as
required by law.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
