FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT
MARCH 7, 2016
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session March 7, 2016, at 7:00
p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Miller presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Jeffrey
Locke, Gary Turner, Misty Hollis and Jamie Lopeman. Absent was Ron Oler.
Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City
Clerk; Mary Stevens; Scott Alexander; Bob Schroeder; Fire Chief Jerry Purcell; Media; and, Sergeant-at-
Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Ms. Hollis moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 16, 2016, supported by
Mr. Goss. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Mr. Wissel moved to approve claims for payment in the amount of Seven Million Four Hundred Seventy
Eight Thousand Three Hundred Ninety One Dollars and fifty nine cents ($7,478,391.59) contingent upon
unanimous approval of the Finance Committee, supported by Ms. Hollis. Upon a vote viva voce, the
motion passed.
STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE: None
OLD BUSINESS:
• Ms. Hollis moved to accept the Proof of Publication for a new 4 wheel drive, super cab pickup
truck, supported by Mr. Locke. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Bids were received on a new 4 wheel drive, super cab pickup truck as follows:
Wetzel Ford-Fleet Department $19,958.00—with trade in
Franklin Chrysler Dodge Jeep $22,298.00—with trade in
Mr.Wissel moved to refer these bids to the General Manager for due diligence, supported by Mr.
Goss. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
