FOR RICHMOND POWER& LIGHT
APRIL 20, 2015
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. April 20,
2015, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Quinn presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Don Winget, Larry Parker, Misty
Hollis, Ron Oler and Phil Quinn. Absent was Kelley Cruse-Nicholson.
Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen
Chasteen, City Clerk; Diana Pappin; Gary Turner; Nick Wilson; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Ms. Hollis moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting held March 23, 2015 and the Regular
Meeting held April 6, 2015, supported by Mr. Parker. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
APPROVAL OF BILLS, INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Mr. Winget moved to approve claims for payment in
the amount of Seven Million Two Hundred Fifty Three Four Hundred Fifty Nine Dollars and Sixty Nine
Cents($7,253,459.69)supported by Mr. Parker. Upon a vote viva voce,the motion passed.
STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE: None
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
• Mr. Winget moved to authorize the General Manager to receive bids on a new 70-foot arborist
bucket truck for the tree trimming crews as approved in the budget. Capital budget, page 2, line
2, responsibility Center 2100. Trade in is a 2004 bucket truck with a 51,600 miles unit #35,
supported by Mr. Oler. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• The 2014 Annual Report will be available soon.
• Messrs. Baker and Goss attending a Legislative Update recently and deemed it quite informative.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: None
ADJOURNMENT:
