FOR RICHMOND POWER& LIGHT
AUGUST 3, 2015
The Board of Directors for Richmond Power & Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. August 3,
2015, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Quinn presided.
ROLL CALL:
Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Don
Winget, Misty Hollis, Ron Oler and Phil Quinn. Absent was Larry Parker.
Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City
Clerk; Mike Elstro, Line Supervisor; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Wissel moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 20, 2015, supported by Mr.
Winget. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
APPROVAL OF BILLS,INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS:
Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Mr. Winget moved to approve claims for payment in
the amount of Seven Hundred Eighty Two Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Nine Dollars and forty eight
cents($782.849.48), supported by Ms. Hollis. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed.
STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE:
None
OLD BUSINESS:
• OPEN BIDS ON A 2015/2016 BUCKET TRUCK:
Mr. Miller moved to accept and file the Proof of Publication as presented, supported by Mr.
wnget. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Bids were received as follows:
TEREX(Wisconsin) $154,795.00—less trade in
Altec(Virginia) $156,733.00—less trade in
Mr. Miller moved to refer the bids to the General Manager for due diligence, supported by Mr.
Winget. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
None
REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER:
• There have been two small outages during recent rain/wind activity
• Progress is being made with paperless billing

There being no further business and a motion duly made, the meeting was adjourned.
