Home My Public Portal About01-20-2015 • , I PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR RICHMOND POWER & LIGHT JANUARY 20, 2015 The Board of Directors for Richmond Power& Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. January 20, 2015, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Quinn presided. ROLL CALL: Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Don Winget, Larry Parker, Misty Hollis, Ron Oler and Phil Quinn. Absent was Clayton Miller. Also present were: Randy Baker, Corporate Services Director; Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Ron Deane;Greg Duke; Nick Wilson; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mr. Wissel moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting for the election of officers held January 5, 2015, supported by Mr. Parker. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed. Ms. Hollis moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 5, 2015, supported by Mr. Oler. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed. APPROVAL OF BILLS,INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS: Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Mr. Winget moved to approve claims for payment in the amount of Five Million Eight Hundred Fifty Five Thousand One Hundred Seventy Nine Dollars and forty two cents($5,855,179.42)supported by Mr. Parker. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed. STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE: Power outages can be reported on the Richmond Power and Light web site. It is helpful to include the pole number in the report. OLD BUSINESS: • COMMUNITY ACTION OF EAST CENTRAL INDIANA Mr. Baker updated the Board on the status of the pending litigation. Mr. Parker moved to appoint Mr. Winget to act as liaison and to report to the Board to allow the members to make decisions relative to the litigation, supported by Mr. Wissel. Upon a vote viva voce,the motion passed. NEW BUSINESS: None REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER: • Late notices as part of monthly bills will begin in March. • An informational meeting for candidates will be held in March.
