HomeMy Public PortalAbout10-19-2015 PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR RICHMOND POWER& LIGHT OCTOBER 19, 2015 The Board of Directors for Richmond Power& Light Plant met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. October 19, 2015, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Quinn presided. ROLL CALL: Board members present were Doug Goss, Kelley Cruse-Nicholson, Bruce Wissel, Clayton Miller, Don Winget, Larry Parker, Misty Hollis, Ron Oler and Phil Quinn. Also present were: Randy Baker, General Manager; Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Peter Zaleski,Wayne County Councilor; Nick Wilson; Denise Bullock; Danny Matheny; Media; and, Sergeant-at-Arms. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mr. Parker moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 5, 2015, supported by Mr. Oler. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed. APPROVAL OF BILLS,INVESTMENTS AND TRANSFERS: Upon recommendation of the Finance Committee, Mr. Parker moved to approve claims for payment in the amount of Six Million Three Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand Eleven Dollars and sixty two cents ($6,388,011.62), supported by Ms. Hollis. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion passed. STREET LIGHT COMMITTEE: None OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: None REPORT BY GENERAL MANAGER: • The General Manager attended a recent Leadership Workshop • The e-billing is being tested and will be"live"soon • A budget meeting will be held November 9 and November 23 if needed MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: • Mr.Wissel reported interviews for the Assistant General Manager position will be November 18 ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business and a motion duly made, the meeting was adjo_ ed. /i 7Quinn,,Nr-rson ATTEST: Karen Chasteen, IAMC, MMC City Clerk A recording of this meeting is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
