Report on new city well is as follows;- Depth a little over 600 feet with water reaching to about 215 feetfrom top and supply sufficient, Council considered advise able as to wheather or not to drill deeper in order to get a more abundant supply, which might raise the aster level in the well, of ter proper and earful consideration, it was decided that the committee consult Mr Ames of the firm of Hoeg & Ames the Drillers, and then use their own best judgment as to further drilling. The Cigarette permit of Halleck do Huisman was canceled on request of Eugene Huisman. Application of a Cigarette permit for Eugene Huisman was granted, upon filing of proper Bond and permit fees with the Clete. It was moved that a refund of the unexpired Cigar ette permit be paid to Halleck h Huisman, Above motions were made by Geo Lindeman second by Luwe, and /(� unamiously carried. (��. Roll Call. It was moved by H L Luwe seconded by Okones, that the council vote by a 'yea' and 'Nay' vote as to whether mr not to repeal Ordinance # 91. Motion carried. The vote- Yeas- Haack, Lindeman - Nays' Luwe, Kruse, Okones. Mayor declared the 'Nays' have it, and Ordinance not to be repealed.
