INDIANA. PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION THEREOF AND FIXING THE TIPyIE WHEN THE SAI4E SHALL TAKE
EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Ridhmond' Wayne County, Indiana.:

Section 1. That the following described platted land contiguous to the City of Richmond'
Indiana, all of which said land is loc%ted in the County of Wayne, State of Indiana, is
hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
SECTION 2, This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and aver its passage
and approvall by the Mayor and publication as required by law.

LAND TO E ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA:
DESCRIPTION:
Being a part of the Southwest and Southeast Quarters of Section Thirty-
five (35), and a part of the Southwest and Southeast Quarters of
Section Thirty-eix (36), all being in Township Fourteen (14) North,
Range One (1) Test, and also a part of the Northeast 4uarter of Section
Th►o (2), Township Thirteen (13) 'forth, Range One (1) West, all being
in Wayne Township, Wayne Count:r, Indiana, and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the present southeast corner of the corporate limits of
the City of Richmond, Indiana, said point being the southwest corner
of the southwest quarter of said section thirty-five (35), and running
thence, from said beginning point, east, along the sough line of said
southwest quarter, three hundred eighty-one and fifty-eight hundredths
(381.58) feet; thence: north zero (0) degrees and twenty --three (23)
minutes west, five hundred twenty-eeven and five tenths (52705) feet
to a point three hundred (300) feet south of thP.south right--of--way
of United States Highway Number Forty (U.S. 40); thence east, parallel
to the south line of said southwest quarter, two thousand two hundred
seventy --nine (2 2.,79) feet to the east line of said southwest quarter;
thence :youth, along said east line, three hundred ninety-five and seven
tenths (395.7) feet; thence south Pigh�yeight (88) degrees and thirty--
four (34) riinutes east, nine hundred sixty --.two and seventy-four hundredth

northwestwardly, along said west right-of-way line; one. thousand five

ri ht-of wa.y line of said United States Highway Forty (U.S. �,0) ; thence
southwestwardly, along said .right-of-way line-, a. total distance of seven
thousand six hundred twenty-nine and twenty-eight hundredths (7629,28)
feet, more or less, to the present east corporation line of said City of
Richmond, Indiana, and the west line of the southwest quarter of said
section thirty-five (35); thence south, along said east corporation line
eight hundred thirteen (813) feet to the place of beginning, containing
a total area of one hundred seventeen and ninety-four hundredths (117.94)
acres, more or less, there being twenty-two and ninety-six hundredths
(22.96) acres, more or less, in the southwest quarter of said section
thirty --five (35), forty-seven and eighty --four hundredths (47084) acres,
more or less, in the southeast quarter of said. section thirty --five,
forty-three and seventy-nine hundredths (43.79) acres, more or less, in
the southwest quarter of said section thirty-six (301), two and forty
hundredths (2040) acres, more or less, in the southeast quarter of said
section thirty-six (36), and ninety --five hundredths (0,95) acres, more
or less, in the northeast quarter of said section two (2).
This is to certify that the above description and attached plat were
urepared this 1st day of February, 1961, from deed and survey records,
and are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.
