• 2020 Road Program & Common Street (Onyx Corporation)
o Remobilize beginning April 19
o Begin curb and sidewalk on Nichols Ave.
o Begin crosswalk installation on N. Beacon Street at Paul Street
• 20-01W Water Main Replacement (Commonwealth Construction)
o Final trench paving and sidewalk repairs (Essex St., Nash St., Pine St., and Oak St.) scheduled for
later in April
• 2021 Road Program (Lorusso Corporation)
o Contractor will continue installing drainage and stormwater tree trenches on Gertrude Street,
Goldie Street, and Elmwood Ave.
o Begin installing drainage and stormwater tree trenches on Grandview Ave.
• Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitations Contract 19-01S (Commonwealth Construction)
o Inland Waters will continue cleaning and inspecting various sewers and drains on various streets
throughout Town, including N. Beacon Street, Riverside Street, and Galen Street. No
interruption of water or sewer service is anticipated, however there may be temporary road
closures and/or parking restrictions.
• Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitations Contract 20-01S (Umbra & Sons Construction)
Inland Waters will clean and TV inspect sewers on the following streets:
o Brigham Street (Bailey Road to Garfield Street)
o Chandler Street
o Irving Street (Fifield Street to Riverside Street)
o Mt. Auburn Street (Stearns Road to Amherst Road)
o Perry Street at Harrington Street
o Standish Road (Locke Street to Bellevue Road)
o Walnut Street (Lincoln Street to Center Street)
Umbro & Sons Construction will continue sewer and drain construction. They will build inverts and
temporary pave on Robbins Road Extension on Monday, April 19
Umbro's subcontractor, Cicconi and Sons, will replace impacted sidewalk panels on the following
streets:
o Howard Street (Acton Street to Pleasant Street)
o Marcia Road
o Bellevue Road (Marcia Road to Russell Avenue)
o Bailey Road (Bellevue Road to Stoneleigh Road)
o Stoneleigh Circle
o Sycamore Street (Gill Road to Perry Street)
o Perry Street at Harrington Street
• 2021 Sanitary Sewer Investigations (National Water Main)
o Contractor will be cleaning and inspecting various sewer lines within the project area. No
interruption of water or sewer service is anticipated, however there may be temporary road
closures and/or parking restrictions.
• Highland Ave. Water Main Replacement —Lexington Street to Olney Street (Commonwealth
Construction)
o Pending water quality testing results, contractor will begin replacing building services from the
water main to the shutoff box
• National Grid Gas Work
Utility companies are responsible for notifying residents prior to conducting work, but planned work
is listed below:
o Continue gas main replacement on Green Street
o Continue gas main replacement on Francis Street
o Continue gas main replacement on Bradshaw Street, between Loomis Street and #50 Loomis
Street
o Begin gas main replacement on Oak Street
o Contractor (Midway) will continue restoration of Belmont Street at Duff Street —curb and
sidewalk installation
