PUBLIC NOTICE
The city council of the city of Medi-
na has adopted Ordinance No. 416.
The ordinance amends code sec-
tions providing for special assess-
ment deferments for elderly or disa-
bled owners of homestead property if
payment would be a hardship. The
amended ordinance describes those
who are eligible to apply for the de-
ferment of a special assessment, in-
dicates that forms to seek a defer-
ment may be obtained from the city,
and that interest on deferred assess-
ments continues to accrue during the
period of deferment. A copy of the
complete ordinance is available from
the city administrator -clerk at Medina
city hall.
