• 2020 Road Program & Common Street (Onyx Corporation)
o Continue curb and sidewalk on Nichols Ave.
o Begin raising structures on Nichols Ave.
o Mill transition areas on Boylston Street at Nichols Ave., Dexter Street at Willow Park and at
Nichols Ave., Wheeler Lane at Riverside Street, and N. Beacon Street at Paul Street
• 20-01W Water Main Replacement (Commonwealth Construction)
o Restoration work is complete.
• 2021 Road Program (Lorusso Corporation)
o Top course paving on Gertrude Street, Goldie Street, Elmwood Ave., and Grandview Ave.
o Install tree and catch basin protection, lower castings, and excavate driveway aprons on Alden
Road, Sheldon Road, and Hazel Street
o Reclaim Alden Road, Sheldon Road, and Hazel Street
• Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitations Contract 19-01S (Commonwealth Construction)
o Contractor will continue permanent trench repairs of impacted work areas on the following
streets:
o Belmont Street at Hardy Avenue
o Oakley Road
o Contractor will repair sidewalk panels impacted by the work on the following streets:
o Chapman Street
o Lexington Street (Highland Avenue to Bancroft Street)
o Nyack Street
o Oakley Road
o School Street (Porter Street to Boylston Street)
• Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitations Contract 20-01S (Umbra & Sons Construction)
o Inland Waters will continue grouting service connections in lined sewers on the following
streets:
o Bailey Road (Bellevue Road to Brigham Street)
o Bellevue Road (Marcia Road to Russell Avenue)
o Belmont Street (Brookline Street to Sycamore Street)
o Marcia Road
o Mt. Auburn Street (Amherst Road to Bailey Road)
o Otis Street
o Russell Avenue (Columbia Street to Mt. Auburn Street)
o Spruce Street (Lincoln Street to Mt. Auburn Street)
o Stoneleigh Circle
o Stoneleigh Road (Stoneleigh Circle to Bailey Road)
o Sycamore Street (Belmont Street to Perry Street)
o Walnut Street (Franklin Street to Mt. Auburn Street)
o Inland Waters will install cementitious lining in manholes on the following streets:
o Bailey Road (Brigham Street to Mt. Auburn Street)
o Garfield Street
o Harrington Street
o Holt Street
o James Street
o Mangano Court
o Marshall Street
o Riverside Street (Priest Road to Wheeler Lane)
o Russell Avenue
o Russell Street
• 2021 Sanitary Sewer Investigations (National Water Main)
o Contractor will be cleaning and inspecting various sewer lines (7:00 AM — 4:00 PM) within the
Protect 2, Protect 3 and 4 work areas. No interruption of water or sewer service is anticipated,
however there may be temporary road closures and/or parking restrictions.
o Flow isolation (12:00 AM — 6:00 AM) will continue within the Protect 3 and 4 work area.
o Sidewalk Repair Program (Century Paving)
o Contractor will continue sidewalk repairs on Whites Ave., from Main Street to Summer Street
• Line Painting (K5 Corporation)
o NIGHT WORK —line painting, town -wide
• National Grid Gas Work
Utility companies are responsible for notifying residents prior to conducting work, but planned work
is listed below:
o Continue gas main replacement on Beechwood Ave.
o Continue gas main replacement on Cottage Street
o Continue gas main replacement on Lovell Road
o Continue gas main replacement on Arlington Street, #264 to #284 Arlington Street; Note: Mt.
Auburn Street intersection work planned on Sunday, June 13 and 20 (8 AM to 4 PM)
