AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF 1999
MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE AGREEMENT
h~'lt EREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in receipt of a 1999 Municipal Alliance
Agreement between the County of Middlesex and the Borough of Carteret; and
~YIIEREAS, the County desires to provide the sum of $18,364.00 in State funds to
b~' paid to the Borough of Carteret including $12,832.00 for Municipal Alliance
related activities and $1,600.00 for related Municipal Alliance training activities; and
~ ItEREAS, the Borough of Carteret must provide a match of$18,364.00 in cash
and in-kind services to receive the aforementioned said sum; and
'WHEREAS, this agreement shall be effective for the period of January 1, 1999 to
December 31, 1999.
X'O~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Borough of
t 'a~eret is hereby authorized to execute said 1999 Municipal Alliance Agreement on
behalf of the Borough of Carteret.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 5, 1999.
