• Common Street
o Top course paving begins September 8, 2020
o Street light installation pending
o Landscaping work at bioretention area
o Punch list work throughout project area
• Road Program
o Site cleanup/transitions on Avon Road
o Raise castings on Avon Road, Bartlett Street and Everett Ave.
o Begin curb and sidewalk installation on Bellevue Road (later in the week)
o Continue grading and compacting on Downey Street, Kimball Road, Nichols Ave., Frank
Street, and Louise Street; paving dates TBD
• Complete Streets Project
o Line painting (pending date)
• Sewer System Rehabilitation
o Insituform is scheduled to install cast -in -place pipe on the following streets:
Galen St (between Aldrich Rd & Union St)
Arsenal St (between Louise St & Athena Parking Garage)
Irving St Easement (behind #164 Irving & #112-114 Pond St)
Charles River Road Easement (between Thurston Road & Priest Road; behind #74,
#78 & #82 Charles River Road, #26 Thurston Road, and #35 Priest Road)
Belmont St (between Hardy Ave & Warwick Road) —Rescheduled from Tuesday, 9/1
• 2020 Water Main Replacement
o Complete water main installation on Essex Street
o Water service installation on Pine Street and Nash Street
o Continue water main installation on Oak Street, including connection points (requires
water main shutdown)
• National Grid
Utility companies are responsible for notifying residents prior to conducting work, but planned
work is listed below:
o Continue Irving Street gas main relay
o Continue gas main relays on Forest Street
o Continue gas relay on Riverside Ave. (note extended work limits to N. Beacon Street and
#50 Riverside Ave.)
o Continue work on Templeton Parkway at Mt. Auburn Street
