AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, APPROVED APRIL 21, 1933.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHM.OND,
INDIANA:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as
the Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part
thereof, designates and describes as "A" Residential District
the following described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne
County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section Thirty
Three (33), Township Fourteen (14), Range One (1)
West in Wayne County, State of Indiana, more
particularly described as follows. Beginning at
a point in the north line of Section Thirty -Three
(33), three hundred forty-three (343) feet east
of the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter
of said Section Thirty -Three (33); thence east
five hundred seventy-four and eighty-four hundredths
(574.84) feet to the west boundary of land owned
by Ned C. Hines and Mary M. Hines; thence south
along said west boundary of said land.owned by
Ned C. Hines and Mary M. Hines one hundred forty-
six and six hundredths (146.06) feet; thence south
sixty-seven degrees thirty minutes (670 30') west
three hundred ninety-nine and sixty-seven hundredths
(399.67) feet; thence south seventy-six degrees
forty-four minutes (760 44') west two hundred eighty-
four and forty-five hundredths (284.45) feet; thence
north one hundred eighty-four and ninety-three
hundredths (184.93) feet; thence east seventy-three
and fifty hundredths (73.50) feet to the present
fence line; thence northwardly along said fence line
one hundred sixty-five (165) feet to the place of
beginning.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention thereof to
change the use of said territory to "Limited Industrial Use."
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the
Zoning -Ordinance and the -Zone. Map..be,_ _and, the same_ is hereby
changed covering the above described territory to "Limited
Industrial Use" and the use and'area thereof be regulated
accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as.
by law required.
Passed by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
this day of 1959.
