ORDINANCE NO. 1732-1959
AN ORDINANCE AINIENDING'ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNOW AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
Section 1. WHEREAS., Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Map made a part thereof., designates and describes
as "Suburban" the,following described real estate in the Richmond Two -Mile Juris-
dictional Area:
Tract A (Wickettj Being a part of the northwest quarter of Section 21,
Township 14 North, Range 1 West, in Wayne'County, Indiana. more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 21 nine hundred and three feet
(903) north of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section 21; thence
east eleven hundred. twenty (1120) feet; thence north, parallel with the west line
of said Section 21, seven hundred fifty feet (750); thence west nine hundred thirty
(930) feet to Ralph Smith's northeast corner; thence south three hundred (300) feet;
thence west one hundred ninety (190) feet to the Section line; thence south one
hundred fifty feet (150); thence east one hundred ninety (190) feet to Roland
Nusbaum$s north east corner; thence south one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence
west one hundred ninety (190) feet to the Section line; thence south one hundred
fifty (150) feet to the place of beginning, containing 17.30 acres, more or less.
Tract B (Smith). Being'a part of the northwest quarter of Section 21, Town-
ship 14 North, Range'l West, in Wayne County, Indiana, more particularly described
as follows;
Beginning in the west line of Section 21 fifteen hundred three (1503) feet north of
the southwest corner of the northwest, quarter of Section 21; thence -east one hundred
ninety (190) feet; thence north one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence west one hundred
ninety (190) feet to the Section line; thence south one hundred fifty (150) feet to the
place of beginning, containing 0.65 acres more or less.
Also,, beginning at a -point on the west line of Section 21, thirteen hundred fifty-
three (1353) feet north of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section
21; thence east one hundred ninety (190)'feet; thence north one hundred fifty (150)
feet; thence west one hundred ninety (190) feet to the section line; thence south
one hundred fifty WO) feet to the place of beginning* containing 0.65 acres more
or less.
Tract C (Nusbaum) Being a part of the northwest quarter of Section 21, Township
14 North, Range 1 West, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning in the west lire of Section 21, ten hundred fifty three (1053) feet north
of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section 21; thence east one
hundred ninety (190) feet; thence north one hundred fifty (150) feet; thence west
one hundred ninety (190) feet to the'Section line; thence south one hundred fifty
(150) feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.65 acres more or less.
WHEREAS-, it is the purpose and intention hereof that the use of said territory
be changed to "Local Business,"
N(TT THEREFORE:
Section 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning Ordinance
and on the Zone Map be, and the same is hereby changed covering the above described
territory to "Local Business" and that the said territory and the use and area thereof
be regulated accordingly,

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as bylaw required.
