AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGING OF THE NAME AND THE RENAMING
OF THE STREET NOW KNa-,TN AND DESIGNATED AS "JOE HILL ROAD`AND/OR
"COMMONS ROAD" IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING EFFECT THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that,
SECTION 1. The name of the.street in the City of Richmond, Wayne
County, Indiana, which runs -west from Northwest 18th Street to
Salisbury Road, and is now known and designated as "Joe Hill Road"
and/or "Commons Road", be, and the same is hereby changed to "Peacock
Road" and the same is hereby renamed and shall be designated as
"Peacock Road,"
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Richmond, Indiana, is hereby
ordered and directed to record a certified copy of this Ordinance in
the' -office of the Wayne County Recorder, Wayne County, Indiana.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after it's passage and approval by the Mayor.
