HomeMy Public PortalAboutWeek of 1026 Work PlanAnticioated Work —Week of October 26. 2020 • Annual catch basin cleaning (BMC Corporation) • Water Main Flushing Program Week 6 o Evening work, 7 PM to midnight http://www.watertowndpw.org/DocumentCenter/View/1093/Flushing-Week-of-10- 26?bidld= • Annual Town -wide water main leak detection survey (Liston Utility Services) o Work is complete • Line Painting (K5 Corporation) o NIGHT WORK, dates TBD: Arsenal Park, Arlington Street, Maplewood Street, School Street, Waverley Ave. and various other locations • Common Street (Onyx Corporation) o Street light installation pending Eversource connections o Install resin crosswalks on Columbia Street and Common Street at Spring Street (Saturday, October 24) o Complete any remaining line painting/crosswalk installations • Road Program (Onyx Corporation) o Continue curb and sidewalk installation on Downey Street o Continue curb and sidewalk installation on Frank Street and Louise Street o Site cleanup/winter preparation on Nichols Ave. o Strip asphalt on Wheeler Lane and begin grading and compaction • Complete Streets Project (Onyx Corporation) o No work planned • Sewer System Rehabilitation (Commonwealth Construction) o Install drain manhole on School Street near #181-183 and #185-187 • Sewer System Rehabilitation (Umbro & Sons Construction) o Sewer repairs at various locations on Bailey Road and near #10 Stoneleigh Circle o Clean and inspect sewer lines on Mt. Auburn Street between Otis Street and Stearns Road, Russell Ave., Garfield Street, Marcia Road, Amherst Road and various surrounding streets • Water Service Repairs (Commonwealth Construction) o Begin water service replacements on Waverley Ave. between Belmont Street and Orchard Street • National Grid Utility companies are responsible for notifying residents prior to conducting work, but planned work is listed below: o Continue gas main relays on Forest Street o Continue gas service installations on Grandview Ave. o Resume gas service installations on Duff Street Note: All work is weather -dependent and subject to change.
