A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE SAVE THE PARADE HALLOWEEN DANCE
WHEREAS, a request was made to host a Halloween Dance at the Bateman Hall
Rental Facility; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Save the Parade
Campaign; and
WHEREAS, this event supports the important public purpose of providing social
interaction amongst Lynwood residents while providing a civic and community oriented
program that can be enjoyed by Lynwood residents and businesses; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 6:00 p.m.
to 11:00 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Save the Parade Halloween
Dance and further finds the proposed Save the Parade event serves a valid public
purpose as described above.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day of September, 2012.
