Sec. 8-300: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OWNED BY THE FIRSTAR
BANK ILLINOIS F/K/A FIRSTAR NAPER BANK TRUST NO. 7-777
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous to the Village
of Plainfield and is not within the territorial limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, no electors reside on said territory; and
WHEREAS, notices as required by statute have been served and published,
and a proper hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of Plainfield that said territory
be annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows:

Sec. $-300-2: Village Limits Extended. That the Village limits of the
Village of Plainfield be, and the same are hereby extended to include
the above described territory.
Sec. $-300-3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That Ordinance No. 1 of the
Village of Plainfield be amended as follows:
That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be extended to include
the tract of land described in Section 8-300-1 hereof.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and
the same are hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 1652 and shall
take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance with the
provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and
provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two copies of this Ordinance
together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and file same in
the Office of the County Clerk and the Village Clerk shall certify a copy
of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory
and record same in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of said Will
County.

the Indian Boundary Line, in Township 36 Narth, Range 9, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS;
COMMENCING at the intersection of a line drawn 650.00 feet West of the East line
of said Southwest Quarter (as measured at right angles) with the North Right-af-Way line of
US. Route 30 (1LL Route 126) as monumented; thence North 00°00'00" East, parallel with
East line of said Southwest Quarter, 596,21 feet to the Narth line of the South Half of the
South Half of the Southwest Quarter of ,aid Section 9 as monumented; thence North
89°47'33" West, along said line, 1949.04 feet to the West line of said Section 9; thence North
00°03'13" East, along said fine, 613.80 feet to a point that is 1210.22 feet South of the West
quarter corner of said Section 9; thence South 89°56'47" East, at right angles to the East
described course, 1311.53 to the Southwest corner of land described in Document No. 1768-
27492 (presently occupied by EARL Curtiss) as monumented and occupied by the remains of
an old fence; thence South 89°24'02" East along the Snuth line of said land, 635,96 feet to
a point that is 650.00 feet West af, as measured at right angles to, the East line of said

it on July 29, 1996 as Document No. R96-066582 and erroneously recorded the wrong legal.
