AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM MATERIALS,,, SE{dER:, IN THE SPECIAL STREET
FUND BUDGET FOR 1958, TO PROPERTIES, MOTOR EQUIPMENT, SPECIAL STREET FUND BUDGET FOR 1958a
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the I)m adoption
of the existing annual budget,, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than
was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of the City Government,
to meet extraordinary emergencies,
SECTION I BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,. India.na,.
that for the expense of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending Dec-
ember 31,. 1958, the following sum of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
fund herein names and for the purpose herein specified,; subject to the laws governing the
same. Such sums herein appripriate'd shall be held to include all expenditures authorized
to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated and provided by law.
SECTION II That for said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated out of the
City fund hereinafter named;, the following specified amount to meet extraordinary emerg-
encies which are hereby declared to exist.;

SECTION III WHEREAS, it has been shwwn that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purpose which appropriated.
IT'IS THEREFORE FURTHER ORDAINED by the aforesaid Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana,, that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in
amounts as follows, and the same shall be appropriated to the item above named,

SECTION IV An extraordinary emergancy exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION V This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor, and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.
