AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM THE CITY GENERAL FUND TO REPAIRS OF
EQUIPMENT., FIRE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS,, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget,, so that it is now necessary to appropriate
more money than was appropriated for the various functions of the City government$
to meet extraordinary emergencies.
SECTION I BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that for the expense of the City government and its institutions for the year
ending December 31, 1958, the following sum of money is hereby appropriated and set
apart out of the fund herein named and for the purpose herein specified, subject to
the laws governing the same. Such sums herein appropriated shall be held to include
all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated
and provided by law.. -
SECTION II That for said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated out
of the City fund hereinafter named, the following specified amount to meet extra-
ordinary emergencies.which are hereby declared to exists

SECTION III 47HEREAS,, it has been shorn that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes which
appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Richmond Common Council of Richmond, Indiana,
that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amounts as follows,,
and the same shall be appropriated to the item above named+

$1742.00
SECTION IV An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION V This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the Mayor, and is subject to the laws of the State of
Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
