AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN FUNDS FROM SERVICES CONTRACTUAL, ELECTRIC CURRENT, IN
THE PARK.DEPARTMENT BUDGET FOR 1958, TO SERVICES CONTRACTUAL., TELEPHONE•& TELEGRAPH, AND
TO SUPPLIES, ANIMALS AND FOOD, GASOLINE, AND PARK SUPPLIES..
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the ddoption of the
existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was
appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of the City Government, to
meet extraordinary emergencies.
SECTION I. BE•IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, '`ndiana,
.that for the expense -of the City Government and its institutions for the year -ending
December 31, 1958, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated and set, apart out
of the fund herein named and.for the purpose herein specified, subject to.the laws
governing the same„ .Such.sums herein. -appropriated shall be held.to.include all expendit-
ures.authorized to be made'duting the year, unless -expressly stipulated and provided by
law.
SECTION III. That for said fiscal period,.there".is hereby appropriated out of the
City fund hereinafter named, the fdllowing'specified amount to meet the extraordinary
emergency which is hereby declared to exist:

SECTION III. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated bala.mces which.will.not be needed for -the purpose for which I appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE FURTHER ORDAINED by ,the -aforesaid Common Council of the City of
Richmond,, Indiana, that'such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amounts
as follows:

SECTION IV. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION V. .This ordinance shall -be in full.•force and effect from and after its

governing emergency appropriations.
