AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, CO MO L! KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1; WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly kaoun as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof,
designates and describes as "C" Residential District, the following
described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne, County, State of
Indiana, to °5it
Lots Nos. 3 thru 190 inclusive, in the Benjamin Fu lghum°s
Addition, beinglocated on the north side of North "J" Street,
between North 1Oth and North 12th Streets; also Lots Nos. 21
and 22 in the Benjamin Fulghum's Addition, being located on
the east side of North S1th Street north of the first alley
north of North "J" Street; also the territory between North
"J" Street and the alley south thereof, from the first alley
east of North loth Street to the first alley west of North
12th Street; also the territory between North 12th Street and
the first alley west thereof from North "J" Street to the
south line of Lot No. 47 in Hugh Moffitt's Addition; also
the territory between North 12th and North. 13th Streets, from
North "J" Street north to present "Local Business" District".
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
of said territory to "Local Business" District.
NOW REs
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the
Zoning Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed
covering the above described territory to "Local Business" District
and that the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated
accordingly0
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law
required.
