AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO® 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
: :' IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1® mritS, Ordinance No® 1472-1953, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of Richmond and Chart No. 5 designated "Contingent Useka and made a.
part thereof, makes no specific provision for the construction and use of a
water reservoir and other structures and facilities necessary for its use and
maintenance in furnishing the public with water, and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change said Chart No.5
in order to permit such construction and use®
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that Chart No. 5 of said Ordinance shall
be amended by adding, at the end of the Column titled "Contingent Use" the f•11
following language, to-wit:
"Water reservoir, including dam, filtration plant, pumping station,
transmission mains and all other structures and facilities necessary for its
proper use and maintenance in furnishing the public with water®"
and by adding opposite said above referred to amending language, under the
column titled "District In Which Permitted" the following word, to-wit:
"All"
SECTION 3 In all other respects said Chart No.5 shall remain as presently,
written.
SECTION 4 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after itspassage, approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
