ORDLNANCE NO. / /i/ 1957
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, APPROVED APRIL 21,1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof,
designates and describes as "D" Residential the following described territory
in said City of Richmond, Indiana, to-wit:
The territory between the first Alley north of and
parallel with North "A" Street and North "B" Street and
ex:bending from North 9th Street to the first Alley east
thereof and parallel thereto
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
of said territory to "Local Business" District.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the
Zoning Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed
covering the above described territory to "Local Business"District
and that the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated
accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law
required.
