AN ORDINANCE AMENDIkG ORDINANCE NO. 1472-1953, CO4liONLY TOwN AS TH11,
ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICEIOND, APPROVED APRIL 24 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,.
Indiana
SECTION 1. WHEREAS; Ordinance No 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Map made a part therof„
designates and describes as nOti Residential District, the following
described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne Comity, State of
Indiana, to-wits
The territory between West Main Street and the first Alley
north therefrom and extending from the west end of present "Local
Business" District to Northwest Sixth Street,
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
of said territory to "Local Business" District.
NOV THEREFOREs
SECTION 2 It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering
the above described territory to "Loa]. Business" District and that
the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be ia full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law
required.
