AN ORDINANCE AMEENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1472-1953, COMMONLY . OWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED IiPRIL 21, 1953..
BE IT ORDAIr;ED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTIt:.IN 1.. WHEREAS, Ordinance No.. 1. 72-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Nap made a part thereof, designates
and describe , as !"A." Residentia7 , the following described territory
in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of Indiana, to-wit:
The territory between South 15th and 16th Streets, extending South
from South "M" Street, 124.40 feet to the South lines of Lots No.
55 and 66, Marymount Addition.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of
said territory to "Local Business"
NOW TIix F EFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Badness" and that
the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in f ull force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law
required.
