Project is now being prioritized by the County. Bridge replacement study meeting was held on March 8, 2011./Bridge funding in T-SPOST List.
City did not receive NOAA Funding. Mayor wrote letter to General about monitoring and safety issues. Structures are now starting to become visible now. City installing new warning signage.
City sent WARDA request for funding to Senator Chambliss' office on 5/17/10. Currently a WARDA Request.
Postponed. City will look into using a on-line service. Information about service given to C.C.
Updating Cable 7 programming, information on web newsletter and back of W & S bill, Facebook, Twitter, and reverse 911 system to communicate.
BTF Sub-Committee has completed draft, and plan has been review by Erik Olsen and returned to the BTF Sub-Committee.

Meters were installed at Medical Clinic site and at St. Michael's (Between Butler Ave. and Lovell), parking stops installed in Inlet parking lot and no parking signs installed on one
side of Chatham. P&D installed in Memorial Park. Decal Ordinance approved on 10/14/10.
Workshop scheduled for August 3rd, 2011.
Grant Applied for through the Safe Routes to Schools. City did not receive grant in 2008/09. Project is no longer eligible for safe routes to schools due to the closing of St. Michael's.
City received Bronze Recognition in May of 2011.
Program completed. Graduation was held in January 2011.
Infrastructure Committee is looking at possible options.
City Marshal is using a sticker program with two warning and then will issue citation.
Staff is meeting weekly on new RFP for contract.

100 new garbage cans and 50 new recycling cans were in place on the beach by the weekend of the 4th of July, 2011. 50 recycling cans from coca cola will be dontated in August.
All new mobi mats are in place at Gulick, East Gate and 18th Street
New beach rules signage is in the FY12 budget.

Utilze social media to disseminate information to the public.
Establish a bus or shuttle service during special events and peak tourist periods for travel from the mainland to the island. The Coastal Regional Coaches are currently running twice
a day.
Utilization of signal timing and Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) during special events
Reduce the speed limit along the hwy 80 corridor to 45 mph East of Bull River and West of Lazaretto Creek.
Install road signage to address special features related to safety concerns: a install "Road Narrow" signs in advance of bridges as a sfety precaution for drivers. B) Install "Share
the Road" Signs along hwy 80 corridor to warn vehicular traffic of possible cyclists and pedestrians.
Coordinate with a private company to ensure service on the Tybee portion of hwy 80 2) TIPD will coordinate with Chatham County and SCCMPD to ensure service along the inland portion of
high.
Establish inter-island bus or shuttle service to maximize availabe parking during special events. - City is requiring special events to present parking plan that may require a shuttle
service depending on size and location of event.
Increase parking accommodations and infrastructure on Tybee Island to include the usage of private parking lots.
Utilize better wayfinding and directional signage to ensure easier traffic flow during special events.
