ORDINANCE NO. 1�86-1956
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $5500.00
FROM OFF-STREET PARKING FUND FOR DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF
MUNICIPAL PARKING,LOT (OFF-STREET PARKING LOT).
Section'1.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the -City of
Richmond, Indiana; that there be and there is hereby appropriated,
the sum of $5560900 out of the Off -Street Park-
ing Fund for the development and im rovement as a Municipal
Parking Lot (Off -Street Parking Lotp} the following described
real estate, to -wit:
"Lot Number One Hundred Sixteen (#11:6)
of the original Plat of the City of
Richmond, Indiana as -laid out by John
Smith, and also known as the Market
House Property."
Said development and improvement shall include the demolishing
and removing of the building on the lot and the development
and improvement of said realestate for off-street -parking, all
In accordance with the plans and specifications on file in
the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City.
Section 2.
Be it further ordained that an.extra-ordinary
emergency exists for.the passage of this ordinance.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall.be in full force and effect,
upon and after its.passage by the Common Council of, the City of
Richmond, Indiana, signature of the president of the Common
Council and submission to and approval by the Mayor of said
City.
