ORDINANCE OF RICHMON.D) APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana:
SECTION 1. 1,,,UEREAS., Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof,
designates and describes as "A" Residential District, the following
described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of
Indiana, to -wit:
The territory extending eastwardly from the east line of the
"General Business" District, being South loth Street, extended
south, to a line one hundred forty five (145) feet west of and
parallel to the west line of South 13th Street; and between
South iron Street and the south line of Lots 23, 2/+, 25 and 26
Greenwood Addition, and the same extended westwardly.
iTIEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
of said territory to "General Business" District.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the
Zoning Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed
covering the above described territory to "General Business" District and
that the said territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by lair
required.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
