_o HEREAS: Certain eXtr•aord.inary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that Iit is now necessary
to appropriate more money than Trlas appropriated in the annual budget
for the various functions of the City Government to meet such extra-
ordinary emergencies:
SECTION I. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE C01.11101NI- COUNCIL OF THE CIT1 OF
RICHr?0�?D, -I,ND_'1_ANA, that for the expense of the Citv Government and its
institutions for the year ending December 31, 1956, the folloVring sums
of money are hereby appropriated anCt set apart out of the several funds
herein named and for the pur.pos.es herein specified, subject to the lawis
governing the same, such suds herein appropriated shall be held to in-
clude all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless
otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. V
SECTION II. That for said fiscal period there is heresy approp-
riated out of the various city funds Hereinafter named, the follo i-ng
specified amounts to meet extraordinary emergencies which are hereby
declared to exist:

the City of Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropria-
tions be not.r reduced in amounts as follows: ,
