AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND DETERMING THE ANNUAL -SALARY TO BE PAID
TO.THE MAYOR, CITY CONTROLLER, CITY CLERK, CITY JUDGE, WAYNE
COUNTY TREASURER, ACTING AS EX-OFFICIO CITY.TREASURER, CITY -
ATTORNEY, CITY CIVIL ENGINEER, COMMON COUNCIL; tivAYNE COUNTY
AUDITOR FOR HIS SERVICES TENDERED'TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND,
INDIANA, FOR THE PERIOD FOR I�V'HICH SAID OFFICER MAY BE ELECTED
AND SEVERALLY APPOINTED AT THE ELECTION OF CITY OFFICERS, TO
BE HELD IN THE YEAR 1955, OR -APPOINTED THEREAFTER.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY 07 RICHMOaM, INDIANA, That the following officers
who shall either be elected at the election of City Officers
of the City of Richmond, Indiana, held in the year 1955, or
appointed or chosen as a result of said election, shall re-
ceive during the term of their respective offices, as their
annual salaries, the following res?:)ective amount, to -wit:
Mayor - - - - - - - - - - - - - y5, 500.00 per year
City Controller - - - - - - - - 4,000.00 If
City Clerk - - - - - - - - 3,000.00 If
City Judge - - - - - - - - - - 4,000.00 "
City Treasurer - - - - - - - - 720.00 "
City Attorney-- - - - - - - - - 3,600.00
City Civil Engineer - - - - - - 4,000.00
Members of Common Council (Ea)- 480.00
Clerk Board of Public Works & -
Safety 720.00 "
Wayne County Auditor - - - - - 200.00
SECTION 2. There shall also be paid from the funds of
the Municipal Electric Lighting and Pourer Plant the sutra of
$600.00 annually to each of the following: Mayor, City Civil
Engineer, and each member of the Common Council and the sum
of 01200.00 annually to the following: City Clerk, City
Controller and City Attorney.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and.
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, the
signature of the President of Common Council affixed thereto,
submitted to and approval by the Mayor and. publication as by
law required.
