ORDINANCE NO. /5g/7 1955
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANAe CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONTIGIOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE
PUBLICATION THEREOF AND FIXING THE TIME WREN THE SAME SHALL TARE -EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA.
SECTION NO. 1. That the following described territory be annexed
to and.declared to be part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana;
Being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section Three (3), Township
Thirteen (13) North, Range One (1) West, County of 'Wayne, State of Indiana,
more particularly described.as follows:
Beginning at a point twenty seven and fifteen hundredths (27.15) rods
south and seven hundred seventy one and thirty seven hundredths (771.37) feet
south eighty nine (89) degrees and forty seven (47) minutes east, of the
Northwest corner of said Quarter Section, ivbichcpoint.:,is 'in the east corp-
oration line of said City of Richmond;
thence northwardly, along said corporation line, four hundred thirty
five (435) feet, More or less, to a corner in the present corporation line
of said City of Richmond;
thence eastwardly, along the said present corporation line, ten hundred
thirty six and fifty two hundredths (1036.52) feet, more or less, to a point
in the westerly line of land now or formerly owned by Fred Romey;
thence south, along the west line of said Romeyfs land and its extension,
ten hundred twenty eight (1028) feet,, more or less, to the south line of the
Parkway Hills Second Addition to the said City of Richmond;
thence north -eighty nine (89) degrees and fifty (50) minutes west ten
hundred forty one (1041) feet, more or less along the said south'line of
said Parkway Hills Second Addition to the present easterly corporation line
of said City of Richmond;
thence northerly, along the said present easterly corporation line, -five
hundred ninety three and eighty six hundredths (593.86) feet, more or less, to
the place of beginning
SECTION NO. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
