GULATION AND CONTROL, OF THE USE OF PARKING METERS: DEFINING AND
PROVIDING FOR THE' 'PAYMENT, THr FEOF, . A_ND ' FOR THE SUPPLY OF PARTS
THEREOF, EXCLUSIVELY FROM THE RECEIPTS, OBTAINED. FROM THE OPERATION
OF PARKING- METERS: PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT HEREOF -AND PRO-
VIDING -PENALTIES FOR THE_ -VIOLATION r'.,FREOF'.
SECTION 1. BE IT OFDAIN_ED BY -TEE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RIC'r"MOND, INDIANA, that Section 2 - of .0i dinance Number
1351-1948, . as •amended .by Ordinance Number . 1378_1949', - as amended
by Ordinance Number 1417-1950, as amended.by Ordinance Number
1468-1952.,'as amended by Ordinance Number 1525-1954, be amended
to read as follows:
SECTION 2. In- order to' effect. the purpose in this *'Ordin-
anoe expressed there'are'hereb,y re-established and fixed certain
zones .to be known as ps'rlking meter zones, in ,the following .streets,
highurays and. avenues in the City. of Richmond, Indiana:
(a) East Main Street, from the bast side of Fourth
Street. to the east side of Twelfth -Street: Fort -
Mayne Avenue, from East Main Street to North "A"
Street: Fort Wayne Avenue,- from .north. side of North
"D" Street to the west side of North Eighth Street:
North 'i'E" Street .on south side thereof, from_ eas-t
side of North Eighth Street to -we 'st side of North
Tenth Street: Elm Place, from -east sid.e,of North
Eighth Street to west side -.of North Ninth Street:
Seventh Street, Eighth Street,'Ninth Street and
Eleventh S:treet.,,from south -side of North "A"
Street, .to i\'iorth side of South 'A" Street.
(b) Fifth Street, Sixth Street and Tenth Street.,
from south side of North' f'A" Street, to ,north side.'

in such other streets, and avenues as. are designated by.ordin-
ante- of Council'for the location of. such zones. -
In any o.f . the sa _d .—narking,meter, zones,, or any. part: or. -portions- of
said separately'designated.parking'meter. zones, the Board of Public
Works -and Safety ma.y. cause parking.met-ers to be installed at each
space in such zones; in its discretion available .for narking, of
vehicle; or vehicles, and •shall see. that, there., shall be plainly
indicated on each 'of such" meters the time limitationd..f:or.-parx.ing.
Such -time_ limitations shall be designated by appropriate notice
posted. in proximity of such met.ers.'
