AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1./.72-1953, CO1,NONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF RICHMOND, APPROVED APRIL 21, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1/,72-1953 cormonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof,
designates and describes as "B" Residential District, the following
described territory in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of
Indiana, to -wit:
The territory on both sides of South 5th Street from South "0"
to South "Pt' Streets and extending east and west of South 5th Street
to the first alleys.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use
of said territory to "Local Business District".
NOW THLREFOM�
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to }'Local Business District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
