ORDINANCE NO. 13-!59 -1955
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND. INDIAidA, CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
THEREOF AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA.
SECTION NO. 1. That the following described territory be annexed
to and declared to be part of said City of Richmond, Indiana:
All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 14.
North, Range 2 hest in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana,
described as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of
Commons Road, eleven hundred and thirty six (1136) feet west of
the east line of said Quarter Section, and running thence west,
along the center line of said Commons Road, three hundred (300)
feet; thence north, at right angles to said center line, five
hundred thirty and eighty hundredths (530.80) feet; thence east,
parallel to said center line, three hundred (300) feet; thence
south five hundred thirty and eighty hundredths (530.80) feet to
the place of beginning.
SECTION NO. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law
required.
