AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RIC_HMOND, INDIANA,. CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE :'PUBLICATION
THEREOF AND FIXING THE -TIME WHEN THE SA14E SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, '4AYNE
COUNTY, INDI_ANA.
SECTION NO. 1. That the following described territory be annexed to
and declared to be part of said City of Richmond, Indiana:
All that part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 14
North, Range 1 West in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana,
described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 14 North, Range 1 West,
being in the Country Club Road, and running thence North, along
the east line of said Quarter Section two thousand one hundred
forty two and fifty one hundredths (2142.51) feet; thence south
sixty six degrees and fifteen minutes (660-15') west nine hundred
(900) feet; thence north three hundred twenty seven and seventy
four hundredths (327.74) feet to the southerly right-of-way line
of the Pennsylvania Railroad; thence south sixty six degrees and
fifteen minutes (660-15') west, along said right-of-way line four
hundred fifty six and ninety six (456.96) feet; thence south four
hundred thirty nine and forty hundredths (439.40) feet; thence
west nine hundred eighty eight and forty hundredths (988.40) feet
to said right-of-way line; thence south sixty six degrees and
fifteen minutes (660-15') west, along said right-of-way line, four
hundred fifty one and twenty six hundredths (451.26) feet to the
east line of Glen Miller Park; thence south, along the east line
of said Park, one thousand three hundred seven and thirty six
hundredths (1307.36) feet to the south line of said Quarter Section;
thence east, along the south line of said Quarter Section two
thousand six hundred forty three and fifty hundredths (2643.50)
feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION NO. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law
required.
