CLOSED SESSION MINUTES
Board of Commissioners
November 13, 2001 - 7:30 p.m.
Town Barn
The Hillsborough Town Board held a Closed Session on November 13,2001 for the purpose of
discussing a Personnel Matter and Potential Litigation. Present for the Closed Session were
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr.; Commissioners Kenneth Chavious, Frances Dancy, Evelyn
Lloyd, Brian Lowen, Mark Sheridan; Mayor-Elect Joe Phelps, and Commissioner-Elect Michael
Gering. Staff present was Town Manager Eric Peterson, Town Clerk Donna Armbrister,
Assistant Town ManagerlPublic Works Director Demetric Potts, Police Chief Nathaniel
Eubanks, Planning Director Margaret Hauth and Town Engineer Kenny Keel.
Mayor Horace H. Johnson, Sr. opened the Closed Session.
Town Manager Eric Peterson updated the Board on the facts founding during his and the Town
Engineer's investigation of alleged employee misdoings.
Town Attorney Bob Hornik updated the Board on the Cellular Phone Tower Lawsuit and three
Reservoir Litigation Cases.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Dancy, seconded by Commissioner Lloyd, the Board moved to
. re tO~5-O. The motion was declared passed.
