ORDINANCE NO. IS 70 1955
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN TERRITORY
CONTIGUOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
THERE®F"AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINDED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYIVE
COUNTY, INDIANA.
SECTION NO. 1. That the following described territory be annexed to
and declared to be part of said City of Richmond, Indiana-,
A part of the Harvey Place Sub -division in the west half of
Section 3, Township 13 North, Range 1 West in Wayne Township, Wayne
County, Indiana, bounded as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the easterly and southerly
corporation lines of the City of Richmond, Indiana'in the west line
of Lot No. 59 of Harvey Place Sub -division and in the eatt line of
Lot Noe 45 of Reeveston View Addition and running thence east, along
the southerly corporatioh-'line of said City to the easterly corporation
line of said City; thence northeastwardly along the corporation line
of said City to the northerly line of Reeveston Road; thence southeast-
wardly, along the northerly line of Reeveston Road, and the same extended
eastwardly 145 feet; thence south 20 feet to the northerly line of
Reeveston Road extended westwardly; thence eastwardly, along the northerly
line of Reeveston Road extended westwardly, to the easterly line of
South 27th Street extended northwardly; thence southwestwardly, along
the easterly line of South 27th Street and the same extended northwardly,
to the southerly line of South 11011 Place; thence eastwardly, along the
southerly line of South f°CIO Place, to the northeast corner of Lot No. 53
in.said'Harvey Place Sub -division; thence southwestwardly, along the
easterly line of said Lot No. 53 to the southeast corner of said Lot No.
53; thence southeastwardly, along the northerly line of Lot No. 37 in said
Harvey Place Sub -division to the northeast corner of said Lot No. 37;
thence southwestwardly, along the easterly line of said Lot No. 37 and
the same extended southwestwardly, to the southerly line of South "D"
Street; thence eastwardly, along the southerly line of South 1tD11 Street,
to the northeast corner of Lot Noe 24 in said Harvey Place Sub -division;
thence southwestwardly, along the easterly line of said Lot No. 24, to
the southeast corner of said Lot No. 24; thence southeastwardly, along
the northerly line of Lot No. 7 in said Harvey Place Sub -division, to
the northeast corner of said Lot No.,7; thence southwardly, along the
easterly line of said Lot No. 7 to the center line of South "EllStreet;
thence westwardly, along the center line of South "E1! Street, to its
intersection with the present easterly corporation line of said City;
thence north, along said easterly corporation line to the place of beginning.
SECTION NO. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from add
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law
required.
