AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICIDfOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN
TERRITORY CONTIGIOUS THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE
PUBLICATION THEREOF AND FIXING THE TilE WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDA114ED BY THE COrJMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICIRAOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA.
SECTION NO. 1. That the following described territory be annexed
to and declared to be part of the said City of Richmond, Indiana:
Being a part of, the Southwest Quarter of Section Five (5), Township
Thirteen (13) North, Range One (1) West, in the County of Wayne, State of
Indiana described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of the
Abington Pike with the north line of said Southwest Quarter of Section Five
(5);
thence southwardly, along the center line of the Abington Pike, six
hundred twenty seven (627) feet to the southeast corner of the Hunt's Addition;
thence west, along the south line of Hunt's Addition to the east line
of Southwest Third Street, as platted in Hunt's Addition;
thence north and northeastwardly, along the said east line of Southwest
Third Street, as platted in Hunt's Addition, to the north line of said
Quarter Section;
thence east, along the north line of said Quarter Section to the place
of beginning.
SECTION NO. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
