AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of Richmond, approved April 21, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. NMREAS, Ordinance No. 1472-1953 commonly known as the
,Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "Suburban District", ihe,foll"owing described territory in the
Teo -Mile Jurisdictional Area beyond the corporate limits of said City, in
`>- ] Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
The territory included between lines five hundred fifty (550) feet and I
j eight hundred forty six (846) feet west of and parallel, with the east line of -:�
i Fractional Section One (1), Township Thirteen (13) North, Range Two (2) West,:;
Wayne County, Indiana, the said east line of said Fractional Section One (1) i
j! being the center line of Southwest 18th Street, and extending south from the
i south line of said National Road (U.S. Highway #40) five hundred fifty (550)
feet.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of
said territory to 9'Local Business Distrct''.
NOW TH19WORE
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business Distrct" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
day of , 1954.
