AMENDMENT TO VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELL3°ZONING ORDINANCE (1604)
ARTICLES 1 THROUGH 19
Rezoning of property owned by ROBERT AND SHIRLEY HINTZSCHE AND
FRANK AND JEAN SENECA.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly advertised and held on the amendment
to said Chapter known as the Village of Plainfield Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No.
1604) of said Village of Plainfield as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Plainfield has heretofore
filed a report of its acts and doings in the premises and its recommendation that the
petition for the zoning of the real estate hereinafter described be zoned R-1, Low
Density Single-Family Residence District under said Chapter 9, Articles 1 through 19,
be granted; and
WHEREAS, we believe that the highest and best use of the real estate
hereinafter described is for uses permitted in an R-1, Low Density Single-Family
Residence District under said Chapter 9, Articles 1 through 19; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Plainfield that the zoning of the real estate hereinafter described should be
rezoned and classified as R-1, Low Density Single-Family Residence District under
said Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as
follows:
Sec. 1: TerritorY„Described. That the following tract of land, to wit:
THAT PART OF THE WEST 160.00 FEET OF THE EAST 660.00 FEET OF
THE SOUTH 60 RODS OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 16,
TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL
MERIDIAN, LYING NORTH OF THE SOUTH 400.00 FEET OF SAID
SOUTHEAST QUARTER, ALL IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
which said tract of land was previously zoned B-3, Community Shopping
Center District by the County of Will, is now classified and zoned as R-1, Low
Density Single-Family Residence District under said Chapter 9, Articles 1
through 19 (Ordinance No. 1604) and is hereby added to and made a part of
the R-1, Low Density Single-Family Residence District under said Chapter 9,
Articles 1 through 19.
Sec. 2: If Part Invalid. The invalidity of any part or section hereof shall not effect the
validity of the remainder hereof.
Sec. 3: This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. i~i~
This Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from and after its passage and
approval as required by law.
