AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1472-1953, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of hichmond, approved April 21, 1953
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14.72-1953 commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of Richmond and the Zone Maps made a part thereof, designates
and describes as "C" Residential District, the following described territory
in said City of Richmond, Wayne County, State of Indiana, to -wit:
Official Map Tracts Nos. 418 and 419 in City of Richmond, Indiana being
all that territory bounded on the west by North loth Street, on the
north by the East Fork of the t&itewater River, on the east by North
llth Street and on the south by the first East-West alley north of
North "J" Street.
WHEREAS, it is the purpose and intention hereof to change the use of
said territory to "Local Business District".
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 2. It is hereby ordained that the use district in the Zoning
Ordinance and on the Zone Map be, and same is hereby changed covering the
above described territory to "Local Business District" and that the said
territory and the use and area thereof be regulated accordingly.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
